Business Research and Development Executive

The company is seeking a Business Development Executive to join the team,

with the role of:
• Supporting the BD, R&D and Marketing teams with day to day follow up of activities relating to customer projects e.g. shipping of samples, preparing and sending of information
• Actioning communications and prospecting campaigns developed with the broader commercial team
• Conducting desk based research into a range of specialty chemicals markets and product applications relevant to Xampla’s range of natural polymers.
• Supporting outreach activities and events as part of the commercial team –engaging with potential prospects and customers. This will include attending events in person within UK and possibly Europe.
• Preparing regular reports for the commercial team covering the pipeline, prospects and showing status against business KPIs and targets
• Monitoring competitor activities and preparing a monthly summary report to distribute within the business
• Maintaining and continuously improving the CRM system and ensuring records are up to date and well maintained with the direction of the Head of Business Development and Head of Marketing

Business Analyst

The company is seeking a Business Analyst to join the team.

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our amazing Cambridge based technology company in a role that will make significant contribution to providing our planet with natural plant alternatives to the most polluting plastics and being part of solving this global problem of plastic pollution. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone to gain first had commercial experience and interact face to face with customers. If you have a passion for sustainability then this could be the role for you.

• Researching
- A range of specialty chemicals markets and product applications relevant to Xampla’s range of natural polymers
- Xampla’s supply chain in a regional and global context, including factors that may influence our supply chain e.g. food security, increasing populations, crop seasonality, environmental impact of sourcing globally
- Regulation imposed in various markets, end-of-life processing in different geographies and sustainability trends in each product area and market
• Completing competitor analysis to understand competitive threats and potential collaboration opportunities
• Supporting outreach activities and events as part of the commercial team – engaging with potential prospects and customers
• Maintaining the CRM system and ensuring records are up to date and well maintained
• Leading continuous improvement of the CRM system with the direction of the Head of Business Development and Head of Marketing
• Actioning communications and prospecting campaigns developed with the broader commercial team

This role is a 6 month fixed contract.
