How does Morro™ Edible Film work?
What can Morro™ Edible Film be used for?
Morro Edible Film is made from plants with no chemical modification. This innovative packaging format simply dissolves in hot or cold water with no impact on flavour. It is heat sealable, meaning its cargo is protected and is only released when it is needed.
Morro Edible Film can be used for a range of different foods and it is vegan-friendly and gluten-free. Ingredients that are easily dissolved in water, such as stock cubes and seasoning packets, are good options. There are also lots of ambient food products that are suitable including porridge oats, pasta, rice and pulses. Our edible packaging makes convenience cooking easy with single-serve portions without the single-use packaging.
855 billion
single-use sachets are produced annually and often end up in landfill or in our natural environment.
