The Role
The company is seeking a Business Development Manager to take responsibility for
- Identifying new key applications and markets for Xampla materials as replacements for specialty polymers and petrochemicals
- Building relationships with key client stakeholders to accelerate Xampla materials’ entry into market
- Working with the commercial team to develop Xampla’s commercial priorities.
- Collaborating with the technical and product development teams to connect R&D and commercial priorities.

Candidate Experience
- • Significant previous experience in the chemical or polymers industry, with some experience in a commercial role
- • Attention to detail and the ability to balance multiple workstreams is essential
- • Experience in the specialty polymers industry is beneficial but not required
- • A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) is desirable, particularly in a science subject, but not required
- • An outgoing personality and interest in exposure to various industries far beyond their existing experience
- • An enthusiasm for Xampla’s mission of addressing plastic pollution, and interest in sustainability
- • The right fit for a small, science-led, innovative team and a high level of autonomy, creativity and independence
- • An individual with a can-do attitude who thrives in a fast-paced environment
